a- Meningitis meningococcal
b- Typhoid
c- Cholera
d- Plague

Common diseases and drugs used for their chemoprophylaxis
• Bact. Conjunctivitis, - Erythromycin
Pertussis,
Diphtheria
• Plague, cholera - Tetracycline
• Meningococcal meningitis - Rifampicin > Sulphazine
• Influenza - Amantadine
• Tetanus - Penicillin
• Malaria - Chloroquin, chloroquin + proguanil in resistant areas

No chemoprophylaxis is given for typhoid fever.
