Hi all,

I have taken IELTS twice and it's depressing the way my scores are...

I just want to know whether is it worth to spend money for remarking and can anyone tell me the procedure for it...

my scores are

I -R 8.5, L 7.5, W 6.5, S 7.5
II- R 8, L 8, W 6.5, S 5.5 now i am thinking
i should have remarked my writing last time itself

I am sure, my spoken english is not that bad to get only 5.5 and writing I thought I did well..

All suggestions are welcome

Thanks

Hi Renu,

I need 7 in all, so i went for second time to improve my writing from 6.5 to 7 but it went on the other way..

I dropped the idea of remarking as I have less chances to get 7 in both writing and speaking.. i thought it would be a better idea if you can go for only one section..

I don't know whether anyone has aplied for remarking for 2 sections and got higher bands...

Please let me know your remarking result.

Thanks

Hi,
First time i applied for writing and speaking as i got 6.5 in each. But my score was raised to 7 in writing but remained the same in speaking. This time i applied for speaking only.I think it is difficult to high scores in both modules.I am waiting for my result and i let you know when it comes.
Where you took the exam both times?
