Q. When consent needed from both partners?
1. elective surgery for their child.
2. for sterilty surgery on any one on them.
3. for abortion

both men and women have free access to
sterilization. consent is only necessary from the pt. spousal consent is not required for sterilization. all reproductive issue, including abortion, contraception and sterilization can be performed over the objection of the spouse . each person has autonomy over his or her body.
