information regardin dnb after completing MRCP.

hello people,

My son did his MBBS from india and then went to UK to pursue MRCP there. He has now completed his MRCP. Is he eligible to take the DNB for a super specialization?if you have any informaion regarding this please do let me know. what is the current status of MRCP in india?is it being considered equivalent to MD or DNB in medicine?

THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE(MOHFW) HAS DECIDED TO RECOGNIZE FOREIGN DEGREES NOW ONWARDS.EVEN OTHERWISE,THE PRIVATE HOSPITALS HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPOINTING DOCTORS WHO HAVE DONE MRCP OR FRCS!I SUPPOSE THAT HENCEFORTH, EVEN THE VARIOUS GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGES WILL TAKE NOTE OF IT.
