    Ligation of anterior division of internal iliac artery stops intractable pelvic haemorrhage because of :
    One answer only.

    Lack of collateral circulation
    Shuting off of blood flow
    Decrease in arterial pulse pressure
    Increased capillary clotting

    if you shut of the blood supply or if u ligate and thereis no collaterals in both cases it will lead to ishcemia and necrosis of vital organ and i never heard of by l;igating u can increase cappilary clottung
    now you have the answer]
