the one about the testicular lump i finished very quick .. i thought i had done badly in it.. but really all u need to do is tell him about that coz he has a lump on his testcile we cannot rtake a sample we can opnly take the testicle itself coz its too dangerous and he straight away agreed ..even i was so suprised, thats y i had so much time..DONT FORGET TO ASK ABOUT ANY CONCERNS AND ANY QUESTIONS.

for this station i just explained that coz she was taking medication regularly and child was vomiting the medication was takin the sugar from the blood and so thus the brain was starved of energy and started to shut down, i also told her the signs of how to findout if the brain is going into shutdown.. i then said leaflets and websites in the end .. obviuosly she had questions which i answered. u have to listen aswell plzzz dont forget.

PEFR was exactly like in swamys folder .. while ur explaing make sure he understands and repeats it correctlyboth how to blow in pefr and plotting of the chart.

hemicolectomy these days is ALWAYS pilot i dont know y. anyways listen to the patients concerns and just do like the folder .. dont give too much info or the patient will overflow and just get dazzled.

in this station u take a short history from the nurse then advise her ...also like in the folder ..u have to play down the likelihood of getting a communicable disease from a needle prick while also trying to do anything in ur power to help her by doing tests and callin the needle stick injury hotline and anti retroviral drugs if she wants .

to be honest with you i never revised this station and when i got it i thought ill give it a try .. but when i went into the station i started remembering bit by bit ..she wants to know her options of controlling the pain coz her sister who gave birth recently found birth really diffcult and painful.. read from swamys folder very helpful.
